It is time to prepare for the 2009 Budget for your Ministry.  Instruction Sheets and Budget Forms are available in the Vestibule and the Church Offices.  Please complete the Forms no later than October 19, 2008 and submit to Fred Huston, Treasurer or Dianne Williams, Financial Secretary.

The 2009 Church Calendar (which includes all Annual Days and Ministry Events) will be available at the Church Meeting in January.

Queen City Foundation is having their 25th Annual Independent School Fair.  Education Options for Talented Minority Students on Sunday, October 5, 2008 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Marriott Kingsgate Conference Center, 151 Goodman Drive.  Admission is Free and Open to all.  For more information, contact www.queencityfoundation.org.

Open Gym each Monday evening at 6:00 PM will resume beginning Monday, October 6, 2008.  All are welcome!!

The Family Life Ministry will meet this Tuesday, October 7th, at 6PM.  All members are asked to please attend.

Pastor Logan will be at the WHW Conference October 6-11, 2008 in Los Angeles, California.  During the conference session, there will be a special graduation ceremony when Pastor Logan will receive his Masters of Theology Degree on Friday, October 10, 2008.  Let's all congratulate Pastor Logan for attaining this milestone as he thanks the members of Mt. Zion for the part they planned in allowing him to reach his goa.

The Cardmaking and Scrapbooking Class will meet on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at noon.  In addition to learning, this class is fun and the fellowship is awesome!

Habitat Sunday is October 12, 2008.  Your generous donation will go towards building a home for the less fortunate.

The Male Chorus Recital is scheduled for Sunday, October 12, 2008 at 4:00 pm.

The Pastor/Deacons' Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 9 am.
