Rev. Kendall Logan

The Reverend Kendall Anthony Logan was called to pastor the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist church in Glendale on March 21, 2002.  On May 1, 2002, Rev. Logan joined a long line of dynamic leaders during the church’s 126 years of history.  Rev. Logan came to Mt. Zion from the Alpha Missionary Baptist church in Franklin, Kentucky where he has been pastor for the last 10 years.  He also served as Assistant Dean to the Union District Association in Kentucky.  Rev. Logan has directed various youth activities in the church and developed curriculum for youth bible study.

He began in the ministry at age 9 when he preached his first sermon in Richmond, Indiana, his native hometown.  He was ordained at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, Richmond, Indiana – July 1990 where he served as an Associate Minister for 9 years

Pastor Logan attended Seminary at Great Commission Bible College in Bowling Green, KY were he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Bible Studies in 1996. He also studied at Indiana University East (Richmond, IN), Ball State University (Muncie, IN), and Vincennes University (Vincennes, IN).

He is married to Sis. Staici Randle Logan and they are the parents of three sons: Konner, Kory and Kyle.

Pastor Logan believes that God has given him the vision, preparation and development to lead Mt. Zion Glendale to a higher level of spirituality and Christian service.  Part of his vision is to continue to develop an interest in Sunday School and Bible Study that rivals Mt. Zion’s attendance at Sunday Worship Service.  He believes that a congregation that is knowledgeable of God’s Word and His Ways becomes enlightened, inspired, and empowered to be effective witnesses and produces spiritually mature servants of Jesus Christ.  He seeks to stimulate a zeal for God, but according to knowledge.
