A Bit About Me

Pastor Kendall A. Logan began in the ministry at the tender age of 9 when he preached his first sermon in Richmond, Indiana, his native hometown. He was ordained at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Richmond, Indiana in July, 1990.

Pastor Logan attended Seminary at Great Commission Bible College in Bowling Green, Kentucky where he received his B.A. in Bible Studies. Before being called to Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Glendale, Ohio, his pastorate was at Alpha Missionary Baptist Church in Franklin, Kentucky where he served faithfully for ten years. He also served as Assistant Dean to the Union District Association in Kentucky. He has directed various youth activities in the church and developed curriculum for Bible Study.

Pastor Logan was called to pastor the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Glendale, Ohio on March 21, 2002. During his leadership over the past eighteen years, Mt. Zion has grown spiritually, financially and numerically. The Mission for Mt. Zion, given to Pastor Logan through the Holy Spirit, is to bring people to God by faith in Jesus Christ and develop their spiritual growth through the teaching of the gospel as outlined in Matthew 28:19-20.

Before Covid-19, in the area of spiritual growth, Pastor Logan had significantly increased Christian learning opportunities at Mt. Zion through class offerings of Christian Bible Training and studies on the Christian Family in addition to the traditional Sunday School curriculum. However, since Covid-19, Pastor Logan also has instituted Morning Meditation via livestream every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings and Bible Study on Wednesdays at noon and the church has gone from two Services to three Services every Sunday.

Pastor Logan is a great leader and mentor. He is frequently asked to teach in workshops and/or serve as the keynote speaker at churches throughout the Cincinnati area, as well as in Indiana and Kentucky.

Pastor Logan completed his quest to receive a Master's Degree in Theology in October, 2008 from Faith Seminary in Tacoma, Washington and is currently working towards his doctorate.

Pastor Logan is married to Mrs. Staici Randle Logan and they have four sons: Tyray, Kyle, Kory and Konner.
